Walk for Peace

It's Walk for Peace time - tomorrow, Saturday, June 24, 2006!

The World Peace Forum begins tonight with delegates from all over the world. Regrettably, one of Vancouver's municipal parties, Vision Vancouver, decided to hold it's fundraiser the same night. Is this further evidence of a gradual shift to the center-right? Some are suggesting that Vancouver now has 2 center-right parties - the ruling NPA and Vision. This would leave COPE as the only center-left party in Vancouver.

Speaking of fundraisers, COPE will have its annual Summer Salmon BBQ on Thursday, July 27, 2006 at the Vancouver Rowing Club.
